These Terms and Conditions set out all the rights and obligations that apply to the ingenie refer a friend offer (the “Promotion”). The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, or deal.
The Promotion will be valid against any purchase of a short-term learner/annual black box policy (“Policy”), which is purchased in the Promotion Period. The Promotion cannot be used retrospectively.
For the referrer: The Promotion will be valid against any purchase made by the referred friend of a short-term learner/annual black box policy (“Policy”), which is purchased in the Promotion Period. The Promotion cannot be used retrospectively.
The Promotion will reward a £50 Amazon e-voucher for a purchase (made by the referred friend) of the annual black box policy.
The promotion will reward a £10 Amazon e-voucher for a purchase (made by the referred friend) of a short-term learner policy.
Process
The referrer will receive a reward when they refer someone to ingenie and the referred purchases a black box annual policy or a learner policy direct from ingenie.
Steps:
1. Tell your friend to go directly to the ingenie site.
2. Give your friend your policy number and tell them to enter it into the referral box on the quote form.
3. Your friend MUST use your policy number in the beginning, when running a quote, or your referral cannot be tracked back to you and no reward/discount can be given.
Reward:
If you are eligible for the scheme and have followed the entry requirements, you will receive a reward.
You will receive a £50 Amazon e-voucher if your friend purchases a full annual ingenie black box policy.
You will receive a £10 Amazon e-voucher if your friend purchases a short-term learner driver policy.
The £50 Amazon e-voucher (annual black box insurance) or £10 Amazon e-voucher (short-term learner driver policy) will be sent to you via the email address associated with your ingenie policy, approximately 1 month after the ‘Referred Customer’ has taken out an insurance policy.
Validity:
To be eligible for a reward you must be an existing ingenie customer with either an annual black box or a short-term learner driver policy.
Your friend MUST purchase their insurance directly from ingenie.

Process:
Your friend will give you their policy number.
Steps:
1. Go to ingenie and click on the ‘get a quote button’ under the insurance you need.
2. You need to enter the policy number into the referral box on the quote form.
3. Go to checkout (make sure you have got there through the quote form).
4. You MUST purchase your insurance directly from ingenie.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any party or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of this promotion except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Data Privacy Policy.
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from receiving the discount.
The Promoter reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel, or amend the discount code where it becomes necessary to do so.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
