ingenie hands over the keys to FirstCar’s lucky new driver
Every year thousands of learners, just-passed drivers and instructors enter our survey in partnership with FirstCar magazine. And this year, we had a RECORD amount of entries with 62 THOUSAND people entering for a chance to win. The prize?
An ingenie ice scraper! Just kidding. A brand new Vauxhall Corsa 3 Door 1.4 Energy worth over £13,000. And with a slick, sparkling white exterior and all the on-board safety and tech features you could dream of - it was definitely worth a shot.
But, there could only be one winner...
A pass and a win
Emilia Joss from Wimborne was randomly selected as this year's car winner - and what a week it was for her!
Emilia passed her driving test on Tuesday and by the following Monday ingenie were handing her the keys to her brand new set of wheels...no pressure to pass the test at all!
But the incentive of a new car worked, along with Emilia's hard work, as she aced a first-time pass and gained her full licence. So double congratulations were in order on car collection day.
Well done on becoming a fully-qualified driver AND the owner of an awesome new car in the space of a week, Emilia.
15th July 2019 when I got a phone call from FirstCar will be one of the most memorable days of my life! Wimborne, Dorset
As home was down in Dorset for Emilia and her family, she sensibily let Mum slip into the driving seat to get her new pride and joy safely home - but she's very much looking forward to taking the car out later this week for some shorter, more familiar first drives around her hometown.
