ingenie Learner insurance is here!
As if our new app wasn't enough, we've just launched a new kind of insurance to make Learner drivers lives that little bit easier.
ingenie Learner lets you learn to drive in someone else's car (as long as Mum or Dad are cool with that) and protects their No Claims Discount if you have any dings along the way.
The car owner already has their own car insurance and ingenie Learner just tags along for the ride - giving you and them that extra peace of mind.
It's so simple
So, how does it work? Well we figured that since learning to drive is pretty stressful already, we'd keep things as simple as possible.
Choose how long you want
We know that people need different lengths of time before they feel ready to take their driving test. So whether you need one month or 6, we've got you covered.
Download the ingenie Learner app
Our new app is built just for learner drivers. You can map your journeys so you can see when and where you've driven, get test countdowns and earn trophies along the way.
Add more months
Need a bit longer? Not a problem. If you use all your cover up and feel like you need more time, you can just buy another chunk and carry on practising.
More reasons why it's awesome
- ingenie Learner covers any driving you do in someone else's car
- If you do have a bump, there's no big excess just because you're a learner - it's set at £250
- It's often cheaper than being a named driver. Win.
- There's no fees to cancel or make changes
And when you pass
When all those months of practice finnnnnnaally pay off and you get handed that golden (well, blue) pass certificate, that's when your insurance stops.
You'll need to let us know as soon as you've passed and if you want to join the ingenie family for real - we'll sort your insurance for the year as a new driver.
If you've paid for some cover that you didn't end up using as a learner, we'll EVEN give you your money back for those months. You can't get much fairer than that.
One last thing
You can use our Learner driver app even without our insurance. So what are you waiting for?
