We’re giving 5 lucky drivers a training day at Silverstone
Socks, bath salts and a hideous jumper that doesn't fit and you wouldn't be seen dead in. That's usually how Christmas presents go, right?
Not this year. We're giving away our biggest EVER #ingeniefamily Christmas gift to not one, not 2 - but 5 lucky ingenie drivers. The prize? A driver development day at Silverstone race track - the home of British motor racing.
What you get
The 5 lucky winners will be given the opportunity to trial a brand new training day that puts them in driving situations they wouldn't have been taught to deal with before.
Now I know what you're thinking. ingenie are signing customers up to a day of racing - have they lost their mind? Nope. The development day will be run by the pro coaches at Silverstone and show you the scary situations we hope you've never had to experience alone. In complete safety, of course!
Instead, you'll get to:
- See the silverstone race track
- Drive with Silverstone pro coaches
- Tackle skids, spin-outs and high-speed braking
- Meet the ingenie team and give us your feedback on the first EVER ingenie development day
How to enter
It's pretty simple. All you need to do is fill in our survey on the driving experiences you've faced and leave your details so we can find you if you win.
Anyone can answer the survey but to win you have to be an ingenie customer with an active policy and a full UK driving licence. Oh - and you have to be free on 20 January 2018.
You can find the full terms and conditions here.
In case you were wonderingWill I be driving my own car on the day?
No, the cars you'll be driving will be specially selected and adapted by Silverstone to cope with the situations you'll be driving in, but you will be able to park your own car on-site if you're driving to the track on the day.Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, you can bring one parent or guardian with you to watch on the day and take as many photos of you doing your thing as you like. Will I be driving on my own?
No, you'll be accompanied by a Silverstone professional trainer who will guide you through all the dangerous road situations and make sure you feel comfortable.
