Matt’s 100 miles for Make A Wish

When someone at ingenie does something truly crazy for charity, we like to make a fuss of them because honestly, they need all the help they can get.

Matt, our data guy, is doing RideLondon - a 100-mile bike ride through London and Surrey.

As well as checking he's feeling OK and understands what he's actually signed up for, we're banding together to donate to his cause, Make a Wish.

Here's what Matt has to say about his charity:

"I have heard so many fantastic and heartwarming tales of wishes the Make-A-Wish foundation have been able to grant...that all leave me a little bit jealous it has to be said, meeting Usain Bolt or a trip to Monaco to name but a couple!

"Reading these very sad and occasionally tragic stories have shown me how much some young children and their families have to go through day to day, how much we take for granted and how much bringing a smile to someone's face can really mean.

"For more information on some of the fantastic work Make-A-Wish are able to do here. With your help we can grant so many more wishes and bring so many more smiles to young faces."

Matt will be starting his ludicrous bike ride on 30 July so there's plenty of time to reach his goal of £1,000.
