Danielle was sick of getting the bus to school. She desperately wanted to drive so she could have a bit more freedom and flexibility. Finding affordable insurance with ingenie helped that happen.

ingenie was offering far cheaper insurance than other companies for my age and the amount of driving experience I have.

How often do you look at your feedback, and what makes you want to check it?

"My mum looks at my feedback when the email goes into her account, so she checks my feedback and tells me when I’m driving well and where I need to improve.

"This helps her feel OK with me driving further distances. She knows that I drive well and it helps her know I’ll be safe on the roads."

What discounts have you had so far?

"I’ve had a discount at every stage possible. Usually this is about £30/40 each quarter."

I saved over £600 when I first insured with ingenie and my premium came down by around £700 when I renewed for my second year.

What are your tips for getting good driving feedback?

"Just drive safely and stick to what you were taught. It’s different going from having someone in the car telling you what to do, to being on your own.

"Sometimes it can be tempting to push the speed limits or take a corner a little quicker, but just remember it can mean an increased price on your insurance. I definitely make sure I drive to the best of my capabilities, knowing that doing so will only lead to cheaper car insurance in the future."
