One last summer hurrah – don’t go nuts, OK?

One last summer day

Don't combust from excitement but if you haven't heard: tomorrow's going to be nice weather because of something called the 'Spanish plume' passing through the southern reaches of the UK.

Thank you Spain, muchos delight.

Where I live it's going to be about 27 degrees. London is up to 30. If you're north of the Wall I can only apologise: bit of rain here and there and lower temperatures. 😩

Off to V?

It's V Festival this weekend, which leads me to believe the organisers have done some sort of costly trade-off with the devil to secure us this sun. If you're off to V, enjoy the sunshine you lucky, lucky things.

Drive safe if you're going in the car - there will be more people on the road and police will be extra vigilant about drink driving. Don't do it. Designated driver? Check out our tips for handling it like a pro.

Don't forget the morning after is when most people get caught over the drink drive limit.

Be cool out there

You've heard it before: people tend to go a bit nuts when the sun comes out. As this is probably the last bit of warmth we'll see until May 2016, it's likely to be even more crazy than usual.

It's not that I think you'll be driving badly - but other people will. Sadly, that means you have to compensate for their behaviour to stay safe.

Have fun! (Safe fun.)

It's not too late to read our tips for summer driving.
They're even funny to read in the rain. Maybe.
