ingenie wins at the first Insurance Marketing and PR Awards

Friday was a glorious day in London and the sun certainly shone on the ingenie marketing team. We won two awards!

The ceremony took place at The Grange, overlooking St Paul's cathedral. Other British landmarks easily enjoyed from the fabulous Sky Bar roof terrace: the Gherkin, the Shard and Canary Wharf.

Not bad at all.

Young Marketer of the Year

We were very proud indeed of our Chief Marketing Officer, Luke Eales, for this amazing achievement. He was up against some stiff competition but his impressive work to grow ingenie over the last few years won the day.

Social Media Influencer of the Year

Social media is so important to us - it's where we talk to our customers. Not only do we do loads of our customer service on Facebook and Twitter; we also share driving news, post helpful tips and have competitions. Over the last 4 years we've launched many social campaigns to highlight important road safety issues - like distracted driving and road rage.

So we were over the moon to receive the Social Media Influencer award and it's only made us more keen to keep launching fun and informative social things to keep road safety a top priority for our followers.
