Happy Valentine’s [competition winner announcement] Day!
Well, we searched long and hard, far and wide. And eventually, we found the ones we'd been waiting for - the perfect match for our Valentine's Day love-in.
The winners of our #PleaseLoveMyCar competition truly deserve the love we're about to lavish on their cars.
One needs a little help for her 206 so she can start out on the road in style; another had his car written off and is now driving what seems to be a shed on wheels, rot included; and the third owns a dazzling diva called Kevin, whose rust is playing havoc with his look.
Something's got to be done.
Darielle's poor little Peugeot 206, Daisy, is in real need of some love.
She's a typical first car: dents, scratches and even a few holes here and there.
As Darielle only passed her driving test 3 months ago, we thought it would be nice to help her start out on the road with a revamped motor.
Congratulations Darielle - you just won the lovely Daisy a make-over and pampering session!
Connor had his car written off by a careless driver just after celebrating his first year on the road.
After the crash, he could only afford an old banger as a replacement.
In his words, the Fiesta is "starting to rot away" so we'll be repairing his rear wheel arches, his boot and giving it a jolly good going over by the valet.
Here's to the next year, Connor - may it be crash-free.
Chantelle's KA Kevin (epic name) could really do with a bit of TLC, bless him.
He's suffering from patchy rust, and he's got quite a few scuffs and scratches.
From all the Instagram photos, Chantelle clearly loves Kevin a lot - he's got a bejewelled CD player and eye lashes. You GO Kevin.
Beautiful though he already is, we're going to give this KA a whirl-wind car spa day that will make him feel FABULOUS.
Massive congratulations to our winners, thanks for playing everyone!
Our winners were chosen by a panel of judges including Tiff Needell, presenter of Channel 5's Fifth Gear.
