ingenie teams up with RED Driving School
We're pleased to announce today that we'll be working closely with our new partner, RED Driving School, to help young drivers get on the road.
RED is the leading driving school in the UK, with over 1,600 instructors and more than 100,000 learners each year.
The partnership is an excellent fit, because like us, RED are committed to getting young drivers behind the wheel while helping them develop the skills and expertise needed to be a better driver.
Together with RED we are working to create a generation of better drivers combining high quality driving tuition and driver education with individual assessment and continuous feedback available on our mobile app and online.

Our partnership with ingenie will make it easy for our new drivers to get a quote from a company that recognises and rewards a safer driving style.
Ian McIntosh, CEO of RED Driving School
We're excited about a number of initiatives currently in progress with RED that will benefit both ingenie and RED customers.
In the meantime, if you're a learner driver looking for driving lessons, take a look at RED.
As young drivers find it increasingly difficult to purchase affordable first-time insurance, the partnership aims to get newly-passed drivers onto the road by encouraging and rewarding better driving.
ingenie fits a black box out of sight in the car which collects data on how the car is being driven. The box assesses individual driving styles and driver feedback is available via the ingenie mobile app and online.
Key areas of driving are assessed including speed, cornering, braking and acceleration. The policy is then reviewed every three months and the best drivers could receive a discount of up to 10 per cent on their insurance in the first year so, if they drive well, they pay less.
"At RED Driving School we recognise that the high cost of car insurance is one of the reasons behind many young people postponing learning to drive," said Ian McIntosh, CEO of RED Driving School. "At RED our learners follow a structured training path which gives them the skills and confidence to pass their test and to drive safely beyond the test stage. Our partnership with ingenie will make it easy for our new drivers to get a quote from a company that recognises and rewards a safer driving style."
Commenting on the partnership with RED, Richard King, founder and CEO at ingenie said: "Together with RED we are working to create a generation of better drivers combining high quality driving tuition and driver education with individual assessment and continuous feedback available on our mobile app and online."
RED Driving School teaches over 100,000 learner drivers each year and has over 1,600 driving instructors on the roads.

About RED Driving School
RED Driving School, part of Driving Results Ltd, is the leading driving school in the UK with over 1,600 franchisee driving instructors on the roads and a growing list of learner drivers.
RED Driving School teaches over 100,000 learner drivers to pass the UK government driving test each year. RED delivers a tailored teaching programme focused on helping its pupils become safe and confident drivers beyond the test stage.
A RED franchise allows driving instructors to trade under the company's established and trusted name. Instructors benefit from a centralised lesson booking system providing free pupils, national promotion by association with RED, and a range of technical and business development support services.
ingenie provides car insurance for 17-25 year olds and brings together a community of better drivers. A black box is fitted out-of-sight in the car to assess individual driving styles. Regular driving feedback is available via ingenie's mobile app or online. Driving trends and patterns are assessed rather than isolated incidents - policies are reviewed every three months with discounts applied to the best drivers in the community.
ingenie is backed and supported by footballer turned broadcaster Gary Lineker and Williams F1 who have assisted in the development of ingenie's telematics technology as well as supporting our road safety initiatives.
