How ingenie Learner protects the car owner

As well as being cheaper than the named driver option, the car owner's No Claims Discount is protected if you do get into a scrape and there's no big excess (the amount you have to pay towards the cost of fixing the car).

Some insurers will charge a lot for covering an inexperienced driver, put a special inflated excess on just for you, and then hit the car owner with increased costs the next year if you crash. Not good.

We set our learner insurance excess at just £250 so if you have a bump, it's not the end of the world.
