  This is my 1st ever car, a 1972 tax exempt vw, 1600 engine and in immaculate condition had many a holiday in Cornwall in her, she slept 4 a double bed and 2 bunk beds, heading down to Cornwall me hubby 2 kids and 2 dogs, loved driving her until I blew the engine heading up Watergate Bay.

  I passed my test on 24th July 2006 and the next day I had a brand new Corsa. Photo was taken on my sister’s wedding day. A few months later we had heavy rain and I drove through a load of water that was 4ft deep - I flooded the whole engine. Repairs cost almost £2000.

  My first car was 2006 & I purchased it off an old man who lived across the street from my family home. It had hardly any mileage and oozed vintage charm, with an interior of beaded car seat covers, a tape deck, and manual sunroof.

  My first car was a pale blue Austin 1100, well I say blue but it was mostly orange (with rust)! Two days before I was 18 I resat my test and passed! The car was my best friend, my freedom and well pushed every time it broke down. I loved this little motor and went everywhere in it and I was so sad when it gave up after failing MOT tests.

  My first car was a white Ford Escort van, circa 1970's. It meant freedom for myself and my young son. The van was extremely reliable and we travelled all over the county, visiting places we had only read about....Sadly an articulated lorry decided to shunt us into an armoured bank vehicle.

  My first car was a navy blue beetle called Daisy, it always had the coolest mix tapes and was full of giddy school girls - I miss her!

  My first car was a red MG Midget which I spotted on the way to my girlfriend’s house. I knocked on the guy’s door, gave him 150 quid in cash, and then picked up my girlfriend in the car. I was the pride of Essex... until the engine seized two days later.

  My first car was a beige Mini Metro named Delboy. It was my sister's before me and my brother's after me. The petrol gauge played tricks and one time I ran out of petrol four times coming back from Harlequins training.

  My first car was a red Ford Escort MK2. When it rained I got a wet right foot due to a leak that couldn't be found! The car went from 0 - 60mph in 2.5 minutes!

  I only have fond memories of ‘Frieda’ my white Fiat Punto. Every car used to pass us, even when my foot was to the floor, but you could still fit two sets of golf clubs in the boot!
